Special Days has been in operation for over eight years and in that time has launched several publications, such as Gold Coast Gossip and Pubs and Clubs Magazine, as well as numerous tourism sites.
Having worked in the tourism industry for many years, Amanda Stichbury decided to start her own tourism website, Accommodation Guide which now lists over 10 000 listings Australia-wide. Her aim was to provide a website that both businesses and consumers could utilise. Internet users can find all accommodation information in one handy website while business owners can rest assured that their business has presence on the internet with minimum start-up cost compared to building a website themselves. Of course if they already have one, all the better to drive traffic from Accommodation Guide to their site.
With the success of Accommodation Guide, Special Days made the move to branch out and offer more options to consumers and business. Accommodation sites for the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney and Perth are now in operation and offer more relevant and specific accommodation needs to those looking at visiting a particular destination.
In addition to the list of accommodation websites, Special Days has also launched Education Guide and Childcare which aim to provide a wealth of information on two of the most important issues faced by today's population.
Special Days then entered the realm of publishing, one of Amanda’s passions, with the release of Gold Coast Gossip. Gossip proved to be a hit, producing real stories about real people. In 2004, Pubs and Clubs magazine was born, providing Gold Coast locals and tourists alike, an extensive and informative eye on the Pub and Club scene on the Gold Coast – bridging the gap in the coverage of local entertainment.
Published monthly, Pubs and Clubs magazine has shown it has a growing potential in the market place and has extended it’s coverage to Brisbane.
